Quilted Jacket Workshop - Saturday's in May

The annual quilted jacket workshop is on again, the temperature is dropping and its time to rug up... a little bit... because this is still Queensland and its not that cold really, but we still want to stay on trend. 
As they work, participants exchange stories and laughter, creating not just jackets, but memories. The vibrant designs reflect the sunny spirit of Queensland, blending functionality with fashion. By the end of the workshop, everyone leaves with a cozy, handmade creation, perfect for those cool evenings, and a newfound appreciation for the craft of quilting. 

Every Saturay over the month of May we will Patch, Chop, Quilt, Sew & Bind ourselves a Gorgeous One of a Kind Quilted Jacket for ‘our’ Winter. In this class Amanda will show you how to take a cosy (one size bigger) Windcheater/ Jumper / Sweatshirt (the kind with fleece lining, cotton outer, ribbing on the cuff, waist and neck) and turn it into a cosy Quilted Jacket. This class will run over the month of May, but don’t worry if you can’t make all the classes, just come when you can and we’ll get you sewing.
