The Colour Splash Quilt is where scraps become art, colours collide, and there are no quilt police telling you what goes where. If you've been wanting to dip your toes into patchwork but aren't the kind of person who enjoys following someone else's pattern to the letter, this workshop was made for you.

This is your chance to play.

Stick to a beautiful limited colour palette for a calm, modern quilt, or throw every colour you've got into the mix and embrace the rainbow. Been collecting a favourite fabric range... waiting for the perfect project? Hello, Tim Holtz... now's your moment! This quilt lets those special fabrics shine.

It's also one of the best scrap busters you'll ever make. Those little 2" scraps you've been faithfully saving because you just knew they'd be useful one day? You were right. Dig through your scrap bins, mix old with new, combine florals with geometrics, vintage with modern, and watch the magic happen.

The best part? There isn't just one finished size. Make a baby quilt, a lap quilt, a bed quilt, a wall hanging or keep going until you've used every last scrap. Once you understand the technique, you can make your quilt as big or as small as you like.

This workshop is perfect for:

Skill Level: 9 – Advanced

What to Bring: Sewing Machine & Attachments incl. 1/4" foot & Walking Foot, Lots of Fabric Scraps from 2" small in the colours of your quilt, Cotton thread for Piecing, Batting, Backing Fabric, Cotton thread for Quilting, Binding Fabric, Basting Spray (I like 505) or Quilting Safety Pins, Cutting Mat, Square Quilting Ruler, Sewing Kit (eg. rotary cutter, pins, markers, scissors, binding clips etc.), Morning Tea, Water/Drink
